This is to demonstrate the presence of electric charge over a charged body and its
transfer by contact over the electroscope disc, The gold leaf is attached over a metal plate which is attached to an
axle and
a removeable metal disc on top. The deflection of leaf may be seen by glass windows, one of which is
sliding, fitted on a
casted body 95 x 60 x 105mm approx, provided with teethed sheet metal, arc inside, a 4mm socket
on one
side.
