A very useful instrument for accurate
measurement
of low resistance such as shunts and specific resistances, determinations. The bridge comprises of
variable standard
resistance, five multiplying ratios and galvo key. The standard reistance consist of 10 steps
(10×.01) ohms and a
circular slide wire devided into 200 equal parts. The resistance of slide wire is 0.02
ohms. Provision is made for the
correction of the zero of the bridge. The multiplying ratios are x100, x10, x1 x 0.1
and x0.01. The total range is 2 micro
ohms to 11 ohms. All the coils are made of Manganin wire. Accuracy : 0.05
%.
