Consists of cathode ray tube. Cathode rays from cathode are allowed to fall on a
high density, high atomic weight material say, Tungsten. Under reflection the cathode rays are converted into x-rays.
Works
on 10 cm spark gap induction coil. The x-rays produced are soft x-ray but must be prohibited for over exposure.
Comprises a glass sphere with concave disc electrode generating cathode rays and focus on a tungsten target
placed at
45° angle, at the inner end of arm exactly opposite.
