It comprises two metal frames connected by a link mechanism
carrying a spirit level. The wire under test is held in self centering steel chucks capable of holding wires of 1.2
mm
diameter (18 SWG). A Micrometer head reading to 0.01 mm is provided for re-adjusting the sprit level.
Supplied
complete with ceiling bracket having itself a pair of chucks similar to those on the frame,
counter-poise weight. and set of
suitable wires, without slotted masses.
